How to Care for Your coMra Device

To ensure optimum functioning and long use of your coMra device it is important to handle and treat the device carefully.

Here are a few tips to bear in mind when using your device:

  • When applying coMra treatments, ensure that your skin is clean and free from daily grease, and do not apply oils and creams beforehand. These substances can build up over time and may negatively affect the functioning of the device.
  • When treating wounds or infections, or the genital/anal areas of the body, it is advisable to ensure cleanliness and sanitation by wrapping the device with a sheet of kitchen clingwrap. Tightly stretch and secure a piece of clingwrap around the face of the terminal of the Delta or the Palm, ensuring there are no creases or wrinkles.
    • Practitioners who may treat multiple patients with their coMra device often like to use a new piece of clingwrap between each patient, thus ensuring optimum hygiene. The same applies for multiple family members or friends using one device.
  • When treating animals, it is especially important to use clingwrap on your device, as animals (particularly horses) can carry a lot of dust in their fur or feathers.

To clean your coMra device: delta

  • Use a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution to gently wipe down the device. Use sparingly.
  • Do not use other products, such as disinfection gels, as this may damage the device.

If you are using your Delta device at home, it is not always necessary to remove the terminals between treatments. However, both the Delta and the Palm should be stowed carefully away and kept out of the reach of children and pets.
